At Loving Arms we work with you to plan the birth that you have always envisioned.
Our fees
Our global maternity fee is $6,250 and includes:
* Full Prenatal Care
* Midwife care during Labor and Birth
* Birth kit
* 36 week prenatal visit for all home birth families
* 48 hour postpartum home visit for all families (schedule permitting)
* Birth Assistant Fee
* Immediate Postpartum Care
* Newborn Exam
* Metabolic Screening of Newborn
* Hearing Screening of Newborn
* 1 breastfeeding session with Alison Miranda, IBCLC
* Facilitate transfer of care if this becomes necessary.
* Support during transport if situation permits (in person or telecommunicating)
* 6 weeks of Postpartum Care
* Postpartum support group (when possible)
* Filing Birth Certificate
* Insurance Billing

· Fees incurred by consulting physicians or hospitals
· Fees from outside sources in the event of transfer
The above fees are usually covered by your insurance if you have met your deductible.
Homebirth is covered by private insurance. By Florida statue number 627.6574 : “birth with a licensed midwife is covered by any group, blanket, or franchise policy of health insurance that provides coverage for maternity care”. We will attempt to work with your insurance company, but you are responsible for any differences/deductibles or other expenses that your insurance company does not pay.
We accept pregnancy Medicaid and will work with commercial insurance plans. Fees may be paid by cash, check, Venmo, Paypal or credit card.
